This was a one bedroom lodge with its own deck overlooking the jungle and beach. It was rustic but v well appointed - we loved the geckos in the roof, and watching fireflies at night. Hibiscus beach is beautiful and a 10 min walk away is a fantastic cafe where you can eat in the beach and watch the sun set.

Chalet Ombak Rindu Kudat se encuentra en Tiga Papan, a solo pocos pasos de Playa Kalampunian, y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al mar, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The location of the homestay is the best attraction. The beach is really right infront of the homestay and we can see the beach from the veranda of the homestay. In the morning, we practically have the beach to ourselves. During the night, we experienced a few blackouts. I think this is not the owner's fault. However, the owner provided us with portable solar lamp for our use in the house, which helped a lot. We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay and hoped we can come back another time.

Hawun Valley Kiulu dispone de bañera de hidromasaje y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado en Tamparuli, a 39 km de Filipino Market Sabah, a 34 km de Likas City Mosque y a 39 km de Sabah State... Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

Zara Lodge está en Bario. Esta casa rural se encuentra en un edificio de 2020 y dispone de parking privado gratis. Esta casa rural cuenta con cocina totalmente equipada, zona de comedor y TV. Jade y su familia son encantadores. Jade nos ayudo en todo lo que necesitabamos, hasta el minimo detalle. Nos lo hizo todo muy facil. Nos trato maravillosamente, como en una familia. El lugar es precioso y la comida estaba muy buena. Disfrute de platos de verdura carne y pescado deliciosos. Nos trajeron al aeropuerto y nos regalo piña buenisima. Ha sido un placer estar alli. Lo recomiendo 100%

I never make time for reviews but this place deserves it. I booked 1 night, stayed 3, wish I could live there...Amazing location, beautiful quiet beach (and ok with beach campfires), massive portions of delicious homemade food at super reasonable price (easily accommodated vegetarian but would love to serve you fresh seafood), comfy and safe place (solo female traveller here and felt 100% comfortable at all times), many activities depending on your wishes. One of the best snorkelling locations I've ever seen (Belize has nothing compared to Banggi island!!). Best of all, I felt treated as a guest/friend rather than a source of cash. Host Romeo really went out of his way to make me happy. Cannot say enough good things....just go for yourself and you will be amazed

Fred, the owner, built this Ecolodge himself with a clear mission: to be 100% sustainable. Every aspect of the property reflects that goal—everything is green, circular, and thoughtfully designed. The lodge is impressively clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, freshly renovated, and each comes with its own private bathroom. We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

El The Last Frontier Boutique Resort se encuentra en Bilit, en lo alto de una colina de 100 metros con vistas a la reserva forestal de Kinabatangan y a 2 horas en coche de la hermosa Sandakan. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Firstly the staff were the nicest bunch of people, who genuinely care that the guests have a great trip, and are passionate about the environment and the wildlife. Secondly, this is the only place in the area actually inside the jungle, rather than on the river. And that matters because you're much more likely to see an Orang utan in the wild staying here. We were lucky enough to see one, and the guys running the place were overjoyed for us. It was a truly breathtaking moment. And we saw monitor lizards and Hornbills causally wandering/ flying around. The guys running the place could not do enough for us. Also the food was great, and included. Travel is quite a hobby for me, I have been travelling the world regularly for over 30 years now and I have stayed in a lot of places, from luxury hotels to eco-resorts etc. This rates as high as any experience I have had anywhere. I wish there were more places run this well and with this much passion in the world.

Borneo Jungle Adventure está en Kinabatangan y dispone de wifi gratis, terraza, restaurante y zona de barbacoa. Increible experiencia, el guia Khai y todo el personal del hotel fueron amables, atentos y cercanos con nosotros en todo momento. Además, Khai consiguió que vieramos el Big 5 de Borneo. Recomendado al 100%.
