Set within 3 km of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and 3.1 km of Huangshi Village, Zhangjiajie Southgate Flower Garden Lodge at the Park Entrance provides rooms with air conditioning and a private... I booked this hotel based on the glowing reviews, and I can happily confirm: the service is absolutely true to the hype! The location is fantastic if you're visiting the park, as it's just a few meters' walk from the Zhangjiajie Forest Park entrance bus stop; if you take the transit bus from the railway station, you can hop right off at the park's icon, and we even got a handy pickup from the South Gate when we arrived. While it’s slightly outside the downtown core, that wasn't an issue since you can ride the public bus before 6 pm and then take a taxi or Didi back for a reasonable fare. The heart of this place is the family staff: the daughter who manages the front desk is a rockstar, and despite a language barrier, she was incredibly patient, going above and beyond for us and other guests. When our park plans were rained out, she personally walked us to the public bus stop so we could navigate downtown. On our last night, she and her mother sat with us to help book our next day’s activity tickets, patiently answering all my first-timer questions. As a bonus, I noticed the tickets they helped us book were actually cheaper than the park's entrance fee—what a great surprise! The warm, personalized service and unbeatable proximity to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park make this hotel a must-book. I highly recommend it!

With city views, Secluded courtyard villa - free shuttle service is located in Zhangjiajie and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden and terrace. I had a wonderful stay in Zhangjiajie! The location was absolutely perfect, offering a clear and stunning view of Tianmen Mountain. The room itself was beautiful, well-appointed, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! The location was not only quiet and peaceful, overlooking a beautiful landscape, but also very convenient. It was just a short distance from the Tianmen Mountain cable car, making it easy to explore the area. The airport and train station were also easily accessible, which made travelling to and from the property very simple. It’s the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. Our hosts, David and his wife, were exceptionally kind and generous. They made us feel truly welcome from the start and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even shared their Autumn Festival celebration with us, prepared a lovely breakfast, and thoughtfully arranged a taxi for our departure. Their home was beautiful, and their warm hospitality made the entire stay incredibly pleasant, leaving us with wonderful and lasting memories.

Providing mountain views, Your Quiet Place in Zhangjiajie provides accommodation, free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. I could write a novel about how much we loved our time with Long Jing at Your Quiet Place. This felt like staying at a friend’s home. We arrived late to dinner prepared for us, and Long Jing willing to plan out our itinerary for the next day as we visited Zhangjiajie. If you’re hesitant to stay near the West Gate (Yangjiajie), don’t be! Long Jing is a master at planning an itinerary that will have you going against the crowds and seeing all the important sites without standing in line. She arranged our tickets, all transportation, all meals…EVERYTHING for us and was super attentive. Owning a homestay / hotel isn’t her first career but if there is such a thing as having a calling, this is hers. In terms of the beds and amenities, everything was super comfortable, clean, and well thought out. The food, cooked by her dad, was INCREDIBLE, and most of it came from her own garden. When I got a migraine, she suggested to me some TCM fixes and just overall was super sweet. It seems like there might be projects nearby to build bigger hotels and develop the Yangjiajie area more. If you have the opportunity, I urge you to choose Your Quiet Place over bigger establishments. I am so, SO confident you won’t regret it.
