Our host, he was great and friendly and showed us around the garden and helped us spot a couple snakes, sloth and other creatures. The garden was stunning. He also cooked us up a yummy breakfast. For me the area was great with a car, it's an hour walk from the town along the beach. A bit out the way without a car.

You are in a jungle and consideration and respect should be given to animals, nature and people. We loved everything… The area, the bungalow and the really good breakfast (I highly recommend the french pancakes). Waking up to the different animal sounds was impressive. The staff was super friendly and every time very helpful. The rooms were also absolutely clean and comfortable with a fantastic view to the jungle. This place is a paradise - Please keep it like that! :) Thank so much for this beautiful experience. We’ll definitely come back (hopefully next year). PURA VIDA 🦥☀️

Everything! It was like we were in the jungle on our own, the houses are very well set out so you really feel like no one else is around. Walking through the jungle to the beach was also a great experience and our house seemed to come with a dog that showed us the way to the beach and then to the little town area which was so cute... of a night the howler monkeys were so noisy but what an experience!

Yellow cottage was fantastic with the big covered porch. The owners Marise and Peter wonderful and so helpful with taxi, tours. It is like a nature preserve.

The vegetation also gives each unit privacy. The hosts are delightful, plaeasant, informative and always eager to answer questions and make suggestions to enhance your vacation. The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

Boasting a garden, Los Delfines Lodge is set in Puerto Viejo in the Limon region, 1.2 km from Cocles Beach and 1.8 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. We enjoyed our stay at Los Delfines Lodge very much! Miguel and Marta are great hosts. They are extremely helpful, supported us, even washed and dried our cloth and drove us with their car. The house has a beautiful garden and a nice kitchen. We definitely recommend Los Delfines Lodge and would come again.
