Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. I would give this guesthouse 7 stars if that were possible. The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The grounds are a tropical paradise full of birds, butterflies & other wildlife. The rooms are clean & comfortable surrounded by the beautiful gardens.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. The entire property was magnificent, lush vgetation, expertly landscaped. The vegetation also gives each unit privacy. The hosts are delightful, plaeasant, informative and always eager to answer questions and make suggestions to enhance your vacation. The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. Werner was extremely nice and very accommodating. Even brought us candles when the power went out. He also decorated the porch for my birthday, which was a nice surprise!
