Rainbow Valley Lodge is located located in Monteverde Costa Rica, in the mountains of Monteverde. It offers lush gardens and rooms with free WiFi and fantastic mountain views. Huge rooms in a great location just above Monteverde. Easily walkable to town. Views were incredible. Kitchenette was well equipped and worked great for breakfast during our stay. Staff were all lovely and super helpful.

It's 20 minutes from town down narrow, steep, winding dirt roads, so make sure you have a car. Watch the video to understand the last road, which look like it goes nowhere. The place is at the end of that "road." Beautiful views from the dome. There's a decently equipped kitchenette, and oil and coffee are provided. Best place I ever stayed. And Carlos is so nice.

Best part is the infinity pool, from there you have such a nice view of the ocean, perfect if you want to relax a bit in between adventures!

Our room was spacious and clean, the shower was huge, the beds were comfortable. Federico was very nice and helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was really good too, and it was lovely to have our morning coffee with such a great view. Lots of monkeys too! The kids enjoyed the little pool and seeing the monkeys. The whole place felt like a piece of nature and we loved every minute of our stay.

Highly recommend this ''Little escape". Mike is a great host, super responsive and kind. The apartment is comfortable and stylish. Swimming pool is relaxing. We travelled with our baby and dog : it took us no time to fully embrace the lifestyle of little escape / Santa Teresa. Go for it!

Perfect location for us, having a car. 10 minutes from Monteverde, next to a farm and a small preserve with a nature trail. The host is so nice and helpful, with a fascinating family history.

The cottage was a real suprise! Everything worked well, was very clean, a lot od space, super shower, everything in the kitchen for cooking, huge refrigirator. You sleep in the jungle, we saw some animals. The owner from Netherland was super nice.

The lodging is no frills, but the total experience is outstanding. Heyer and Jenny and their family are very welcoming. They also invite WorkAway participants to help out on the farm, so there are lots of people to have meals together and exchange interesting conversation. We stayed a total of 3 nights over 5 days and enjoyed it immensely. As a bonus, we saw many bird species including 4 Scarlet Macaws in the trees next to the main house and watched a troop of Spider Monkeys pass through the trees next to our lodging.
