This place is absolutely incredible! The bungalow is stunning, the views are magnificent, the grounds are unmatched. Franzi and family are absolutely delightful and we really enjoyed some of the excursions that we did (animal rescue - absolutely incredible work they are doing for the conservation of the land and the animals that live in the jungle; half day jungle trek with Julio - we learned so much about the plants and trees of the forest, dunking in the natural waterslides was a bonus, cocao tour). We ordered a breakfast basket each morning which was out of this world and also a dinner one night which was great! The food was homemade and from the land, it was delicious!

Cabañas Awana is located in Río Arajuno and offers a garden and a restaurant. This lodge provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Cabana looked really nice, it was spacious and clean. It had everything what it should have. The best thing about stay was Raul - the owner of Cabana, our cook and our guide. He was very friendly and helpful. The food he prepared for us was very delicious! I can recommend this stay to anyone, who would like to experience true Amazon experience with limited budget.

Spotlessly cleaned every morning, the staff were amazing and helpful in every way including organising our tours on the Amazon river and the communities up and down river. The cabana was wonderful, sitting on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine watching and listening to all the birds and animals around about us, oh so peaceful!! The breakfast each morning served overlooking the lagoon was fresh and delicious

The owner is wonderful and very welcoming. Would go back in a heartbeat!
