The family that runs it is so nice and welcoming. The food and coffee was amazing and the location is within walking distance from the giant tortoise reserve. The view is wonderful and it feels like a slice of paradise!

Location was quiet, just outside of town. Just a few minutes walk from downtown or docks. Breakfast was fabulous every morning. The owners were very friendly and helpful when our phones did not work and one of our tours was cancelled. They helped us book with someone else (and we saved a lot of money too for same tour!)

The apartment was large and clean. Kitchen coking facilities very good. Hammocks and hammock chairs to enjoy on decks. Bed firm (but we like that). Easy 5min walk to the Pier and 15min walk into town. Manany excellent with communication and arranged taxi from airport on our arrival and Martha attentive to housekeeping/laundry. Isabela is much more laid back than Cristobal or Santa Cruz...was a really nice place to truly slow down.

Pepe, the host of Palma Del Mar 2, is the best host ever! He helped me book the cheapest tour of 360 the very first day of my arrival at a very economical price, helping me finish the tours of San Cristobal sooner than I expected and I could leave for the other islands. The hotel room is spotlessly clean and the amenities are wonderful. There is a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans where you can cook if you wish and a fridge to store your food. The hotel is very central with a big market mall nearby and all major tour vendors nearby and port at a ten minutes walking distance. Pepe drove me himself the first day to show me around the island to know where to board the ferry and where to buy tours and ferry tickets. I felt as if I were home with a trusted friend. The best hotel stay ever!
