This place is just pure magic. From the privilege of being alone, to the position at the feet of the beautiful Chimborazo, to the beautiful animals that you can see by just getting out of your room. In 25 days of traveling across Ecuador it was definitely one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we stayed and it was for sure absolutely the best place during our 11 days of travels in the Andes. Special thanks to the staff for being so friendly and professional at the same time. The food was always amazing and really healthy.

Set in Cotopaxi National Park, 6 km from the entrance, Chilcabamba Lodge has comfortable rooms charming with rustic-style décor. Our stay at the lodge was absolutely amazing. We loved being in such a remote and beautiful area near Cotopaxi National Park. They offer a lot of tours and excursions but our favorite thing to do was exploring the surrounding areas on our own as well as hiking to a nearby waterfall. The staff was extremely kind, accommodating, and helpful. The food was always fresh and well prepared. We honestly could have stayed here longer and would definitely stay here again.
