There are hot water for shower (you just need to know that you should open it for a bit, and not all the way). Also there is a service of transporting your big muchilas to the end of the trail, and a lunch bag to go. Above all the hospitality was so lovely, we got help with everything we needed (including a ride to the atm!). Would definitely recommend!

Set in Cotopaxi National Park, 6 km from the entrance, Chilcabamba Lodge has comfortable rooms charming with rustic-style décor. We liked everything about Chilcabamba, from the initial communication to check-out. Jessica got in touch right away to facilitate the activities / transportation we needed. After transportation from Quito, we were greeted with a complimentary traditional hot drink. The rooms were spotless. There was only one other family when we stayed, and our kids loved playing together in the main lounge area. The food was excellent. The grounds include a 20 minute path through the beautiful grasslands to a trout pond. It was peaceful and beautiful.

Runa Wasi Quilotoa offers accommodation in Quilotoa. Latacunga is 72 km away. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Meals were fine. Clean room with fireplace (great for cold nights). Staff was friendly and helpful.
