The sauna was superb and we also enjoyed the view from the window overlooking the forest.

There was basic lighting in all the rooms. Having to live without running water was not bad. The owner had more than enough water for us in containers. The outside kitchen was a different but pleasant experience. We had everything we needed. We had to walk a lot to get there, but that was because we did not understand the working of the local bus and we never found where we could hire bicycles.

That kind of very rare staying that truly exceeded our expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to go again any given time short notice. The mill is perfectly sized, located and renovated, overwhelmingly charming, spartan decorated but hands down comfortable, and I really had one of the best nights sleep ever. I'm just happy for anyone who gets the opportunity to spend a night.
