The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The fireplace was excellent and supplies were given to light it. As the owner notes, it isn’t a “hotel-neutral” stay—it’s a true home. My friend and I came for a few days to completely switch off and it delivered: tranquil, scenic, and blissfully quiet. The lodge is welcoming and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need. It’s not modern or ultra-contemporary, but that’s part of its charm. We loved our stay and hope to return early next year.
