It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also close to restaurants and the monkey forest. In short, I was very happy to stay here in Ubud. I will come back again next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Kubuhill Sunset Bungalow in Nusa Penida and can highly recommend it! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. Renting a scooter directly at the accommodation was super easy, making it simple to explore the island at our own pace. We also loved the location: it’s just a short walk to Vegan Soul Kitchen, one of the best restaurants on Nusa Penida, and the sunsets from the bungalows are absolutely magical. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained — with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Thank you to the whole team — we’d love to come back!

Made and his entire staff took excellent care of us during our stay. Our bed was the most comfortable bed we have had on our entire trip. Breakfast was cooked fresh & reasonably priced. The pool was a relaxing start /end to our day. There was a variety of spa services available and they arranged for them come to the villa on the day/time we picked. He was able to recommend delicious places to eat dinner and even arranged transport for all of the places we wanted to go. Exeptional services, we highly recommend staying.

Everything about Dune Alaya was sensational. The staff are amazing. The beautiful log houses are so special, if you are looking for an authentic bali experience, with a community feel but also so much room to take your own space, I wouldn't look anywhere else but here. There is truly something very special about Dune Alaya and we will definitely be back!

We stayed in the only two bedroom villa at Oemah Tepi Sawah to celebrate my birthday. It was the most amazing birthday I've had for years! For all I had hope for, was to spend some time in the nature, the quiet part of Bali, and Oemah Tepi Sawah was the perfect place for me. We spent two nights and everything was perfect. From the homecook meal they served during breakfast and dinner, unto the grounds itself which was surrounded by rice paddies and tropical jungle. Not to mention the staffs were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They are very polite to the guests including us who are actually local Indonesian. They spoke other languages like Dutch and English, and I have to give my hats off to ibu Dewi who is the owner of Oemah. We had a nice conversation on the last day we were there, and was very helpful in providing us information about the Subak Coffee (local grown coffee that was grown around the area). We would definitely come back, as we are nature lovers. Read the reviews before you book this place, don't expect a 5 star a hotel experience in the city. This place is for you to getaway from the craziness in the city, and be one with the nature!
