This is a beautiful and serene place nestled amidst the mountains and nature. The location is ideal—peaceful and tranquil, yet conveniently close to restaurants, cafés, the beach, and temples. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I hiked around the mountains and really enjoyed the proximity of the beach. I stayed here for just over two weeks, and if not for other commitments, I would have happily extended my stay to a month or more. I absolutely loved my cozy little cottage and the private garden, which added a special charm to my experience. Hope to visit Pemuteran again, and when I do, this will definitely be my first choice for accommodation. A few restaurant recommendations nearby: • Pemuteran Coffee & breads serves amazing coffee and has a lovely atmosphere. • Warung De Lekong is a small, clean, and authentic local eatery with delicious food, and they even deliver to the lodge.

The staff were extremely nice, they deserve every single compliment! They are super attentive and react to every petition you make (you can communicate with them through whatsapp at all times). The breakfast is made at the moment and it's delicious! You feel the calm and relaxing environment at all times, it's about 30min away by car from Ubud, and it makes it a very remote and calm area. It still reaches the pick up area included in most tours though. The food at the restaurant was also amazing and the quality-price was great!!

Babakan is spectacular! Everything from the view, the kindness of the hosts, to the exceptional level of cleanliness at the villa. This was my favorite place that I stayed during my three weeks traveling through Bali. The hosts work tirelessly from before sunrise to well after sundown to make the stay at this villa extraordinary. The daily cleaning of the villa and patio area was immaculate. The shower had the perfect hot water, the bedding was crisp and clean white linens, and the view was extraordinary!
