From the moment we arrived, we absolutely loved our stay here. If you're looking for a beautiful, eco-friendly retreat created and run by people who genuinely care about the environment, this is the place for you. Fred, the owner, built this Ecolodge himself with a clear mission: to be 100% sustainable. Every aspect of the property reflects that goal—everything is green, circular, and thoughtfully designed. The lodge is impressively clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, freshly renovated, and each comes with its own private bathroom. We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

Papar Beachfront View si trova a Papar, nella regione Sabah, a 39 km da Filipino Market Sabah. The location was out of town but right on the beach. The beach area in front of the accommodation was clean and free from plastic. Such a wonderful thing in Malaysia. I observed the owner doing a rubbish picking from the beach. It is wonderful to see someone who cares about their environment. The accommodation is built from shipping containers and is well done.

A a due passi da Kalampunian Beach a Tiga Papan, Chalet Ombak Rindu Kudat mette a disposizione un alloggio con vista sul mare, WiFi gratuito e parcheggio privato gratuito. The location of the homestay is the best attraction. The beach is really right infront of the homestay and we can see the beach from the veranda of the homestay. In the morning, we practically have the beach to ourselves. During the night, we experienced a few blackouts. I think this is not the owner's fault. However, the owner provided us with portable solar lamp for our use in the house, which helped a lot. We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay and hoped we can come back another time.

Hawun Valley Kiulu presenta una vasca idromassaggio e alloggi climatizzati a Tamparuli, a 39 km da Filipino Market Sabah, 34 km da Likas City Mosque e 39 km da Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village. Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

The Mangrove si trova a Sematan. Il WiFi gratuito è in dotazione in tutta la struttura e c’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Posizione isolata. Cordialità dello staff. Di fronte al mare

Posizionato a Kota Kinabalu, ad appena 1,5 km da Filipino Market Sabah, l’alloggio Jesselton Quay by Miraton Lodge 2 mette a disposizione piscina all’aperto, giardino, bar e WiFi gratuito. La posizione comodissima per il jesselton point, dista solo 2 minuti a piedi, vista stupenda sia dall'appartamento che dal 32esimo piano, piscina con vista molto bella ma non troppo pulita, penso per la grande quantità di persone, c'è anche una doccia nel livello della piscina. Ascensori mai troppo affollati. Comodi i letti e anche il divano letto. Ottima la doccia completamente chiusa, non frequente nel SEA. Nel complesso riprenoterei qui, ci siamo trovati benissimo!

4 Simple Minimalistic Rooms at Sunset Lodge - Eco Valley Retreat 豐之谷 si trova a Balung e propone alloggi con aria condizionata e l’accesso a un giardino con terrazza. This has become one of my favourite destinations during my trip to Sabah, Borneo. The moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff and were offered refreshments like tea, fruit and other nice sweets. The room was spacious and beautifully designed and it made me feel at home. I also appreciated that the staff already turned on the AC which made the arrival process even better. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and wish we could have spent another night if it was up to my travel itinerary. Moreover, we were able to do our laundry here and the staff folded and ironed it without any surcharge, such kindness! The food was very good including both dinner and breakfast, it was like my grandma would have made it. Overall, I would come back here again if I am ever given the opportunity.

Situato a Bilit, a 2 ore di auto dalla splendida Sandakan, il Last Frontier Boutique Resort sorge in cima a una collina di 100 m affacciata sulla Riserva Forestale Kinabatangan. This was a fantastic experience and stay - altogether. The attentiveness of Jason and the staff makes it feel like a 5 star hotel, whilst the location and rustic feel makes it feel like you are truly in the heart of the jungle. You fall asleep to a light breeze and the sounds of the jungle. My wife is pregnant and we were a bit worried about mosquito diseases - but Jason explained that the ridge at which the hotel is at has barely any mosquitoes because of the altitude. He also suggested a non deet mosquito spray that really works. We had 0 mosquito bites during our stay. I can’t get all the things into a review. But such a gem of a place. Thank all of you ❤️

Bayu Senja Lodge presenta la vista sul giardino, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a Kampong Kundassan. Amazing view with balcony overlooking southern mountains and hills from my room. Tidy & clean, with a decent restaurant on-site so not necessary to drive out to eat. Toiletries are sufficient. Thoughtful details in the room. Pleasantly surprised to find this in such a location.
