Great staff, all inquiries solved, felt like home. Family atmosphere, great food and view. You need to be quite fit to get there though :)

The homestay currently consists of three one-room cabins and a small house w/ a compact kitchen. It’s located in a quiet area away from the busy main road. The owner is a very kind elementary school teacher who lives near the homestay with his family. I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.

UKCC Hotel er staðsett í Kota Bawah Timur, ekki langt frá Sumur Tiga-ströndinni og býður upp á verönd. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að svölum og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The view is amazing ! We rent the bungalow with 2 bedrooms. The owner are really nice and helpful, they help us for rent scooter.

It’s possible to buy coffee and small goods at the hostel. The owner is very kind. Bed is big and comfortable. Fan is enough to keep the room cool with open windows.

Garden Inn er staðsett í Bukit Lawang og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi. Gestir geta notið garðs, verandar og veitingastaðar. Sumar gistieiningarnar eru með setusvæði og/eða svalir. We stayed at Garden Inn for four nights, and they were unforgettable. The room was beautiful, designed in a natural style—a combination of stone and wood, which is exactly what it should be since we were in the jungle. It had a very lovely and cozy atmosphere, complete with a terrace. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was no hot water in the bathroom, but we came to the jungle—why would there be? Every evening, we had visitors—macaque monkeys who entertained us. On two nights, they used our terrace as their bedroom. They weren’t aggressive; on the contrary, our terrace became their playground, especially for the teenage monkeys. It was an amazing experience. We highly recommend it—if you want to be close to nature, Garden Inn is the perfect choice. The guys at the reception are absolute gems. They were always there to help and answer any questions or concerns. Big kudos to them—nothing could surprise or confuse them.
