We had a wonderful time during our stay at Oemah Tepi Sawah. It’s a very peaceful place surrounded by rice fields. The jungle around is spectacular, with many geckos, fireflies, and cicadas that we could hear and observe. Dewi and her team were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. They were preparing for us delicious, homemade food each day and helped to organize jungle trekking with guide and local transportation. We also met many wonderful people during our stay. It felt as if all the guests were not strangers to one another, but good neighbors and companions. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. A huge recommendation for all nature lovers!

We got to learn how to prepare traditional dishes with the help of a friendly and passionate local team. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, with a touch of Balinese culture, Bali Secret Jungle is the perfect place!

And the calmness of the nature and the way the property is build by the owner and his own people it shows how much they love what they are doing. An absolute gem. Those who loves to stay away from noise and pollution this place is heaven. Also the people who run this are so kind and treat you like you are one of them. They make you fall in love with everything around you.

Excellent location away from the crowds with a magnificent view on the rice fields. Arta gave us a wonderful welcome and gave very good advices. Even without speaking the same language, deep connection was possible—through a gesture, a glance, a shared smile. The atmosphere is incredibly calming, and the food gave me real energy, not just physically but emotionally. To be honest, I find it hard to put this experience fully into words. Sanda feels different from anywhere else in Bali. This is not a place for passive tourism—it gently asks something of you too. If you're looking for a space to be still, to read, to think, to meditate, or to unplug from social media and constant feedback, this is a rare and beautiful choice. I spent three days here reading and reflecting, allowing my life to pause. My conversations with Harry gave me a deeper understanding of plants—their fruits, their rhythms, their stories. December is durian season, and I know I will return. Time spent here feels like a gift. I hope you give yourself one too.

I loved the location — right across from the rice terraces. It’s very secluded and peaceful, with no noise and no road nearby. I slept really well; it’s quite cool there, which is another big plus compared to the hot south. I even slept under a warm blanket. The cottage itself is very beautiful, everything is made with love. The hosts offer breakfast for an additional fee, but if you plan to cook for yourself, bring your own food, as there’s almost nothing around. The only warung I wanted to go to for dinner was closed. However, there are two small shops nearby where you can buy some snacks.

Right in the middle of the rice fields and jungle! This establishment is a great place if you want to have nice walks along the famous rice terraces. The noise of the nature at night takes time to get used to. Same with sleeping in a room with geckos - but that's pretty normal in Bali. The host was really helpful in helping with arranging the healer when my husband had back pain. Thank you! We will always remember our stay.
