Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses se nachází v destinaci Egilsstadir a poskytuje zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a výhled na hory. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Hengifosslodge Skáldahús se nachází v destinaci Egilsstadir a nabízí zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a výhled na hory. The kitchenette was very well equipped. Felt like we were in a log cabin. Cozy beds, beautiful view, and met by a friendly host.

Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs se nachází ve východní vysočině na hranici národního parku Vatnajökull. Laugarfell je naprostá pecka od A - Z. Krásné čisté pokoje pojmenované po vodopádech a horách v okolí. Usměvavý, vstřícný a komunikativní personál, který se snaží vyhovět, co vám na očích vidí. Chata je na samotě, objednali jsme si polopenzi (rezervoval jsem to asi 2 dny dopředu mailem, aby věděli počty) - vynikající s láskou dělané jído, snídaně s hodně domácími džemy, ovocem, lívanečky, pečivo (topinkovač), müsli, káva čaj, voda (pití bylo k mání po celý den) atd. Polopenze necelých 1250 Kč (50 EUR) mi přijde na islandské poměry paráda. V okolí je několik turistických tras a F - roads pro vozy 4x4. My jsme šli 8 km vodopádový okruh (značení přímo od chaty), jedna z nejkrásnějších procházek. Bonusem jsou přímo u chaty 2 kruhové teplé prameny 38 C, 43 C. Když přijdete z túry, dáte si večeři a natáhnete se do vody, zažijete nirvánu. Pravda je, chytit zde počasí, je základ. My měli luxusní. a prožili jsme tady fantastický den. Na terase je i grill na plyn (nevyužili jsme). Brnkli jsme i na kytaru, co tu mají.

Dreamy Cabin with Sea Views, North Iceland se nachází v destinaci Bakkafjörður a poskytuje terasu a ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a výhledem na moře. The house in the sleepy, remote village is one of the few accommodations in the area offering all amenities (including a washer and dryer) and the comfort of staying alone. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Overall, the house possesses some continental European flair, which feels nice.

Fishing Lodge Hálsakot se nachází v destinaci Sleðbrjótur v oblasti Island – východ a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a saunu. What a wonderfull place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are big and comfortable, the beds were really really comfortable! The owner is such a nice and friendly gentleman. What a pleasure it was to meet him! The kitchen is nice and big and you can use anything you need. In the fridge was everything you need for breakfast. We would absolutely recommend this lodge to anybody!
