The Glass house - Northern lights hideout, que tiene vistas a la montaña, dispone de alojamiento con balcón y cafetera, y está a unos 19 km de Iglesia de Hallgrímur. The Glass House was a great space for my wife and I to spent the last four nights of our 3-week Iceland trip. It's perfectly setup for two people, with plenty of space to spread out, and located in a small grouping of other summer homes that give the feeling of the peaceful Icelandic countryside while only being a short distance to Reykjavík. The house itself is brand new and extremely clean, with a calm and serene color palette and huge windows for viewing the beautiful forest trees surrounding the property. We both really loved the geothermal hot tub, and spent each night listening to the snipes drumming and loons calling from nearby fields and lakes. Having a washing machine was very convenient, and the wifi was nice and fast (we work while we travel). We had a small issue upon arrival— the host quickly responded within minutes and was very helpful to resolve (even very late at night). I could tell that they care about their guests' experience, which was really appreciated. We visit Iceland often, and definitely plan to book The Glass House again on future trips! TIP: The nearby road (435) is a really fun drive in the summer, as you head toward Þingvallavatn— don't miss it! (I believe it's closed October - May)

Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik se encuentra en Mosfellsbær, a solo 36 km de Parque nacional de Thingvellir, y ofrece alojamiento frente a la playa con jardín y wifi gratis. The cabin was amazing and so clean! And the view!!! That was my dream cabin! It has sauna and hot tub(fresh hot springs) and they were amazing!! Quite area. The owner was so kind, helpful and friendly!! We definitely have to come back this cabin asap!! Highly recommend!!!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming accommodation as a family, and we must say, it was an absolute delight! Nestled in a beautiful setting surrounded by stunning lupin flowers, the place exudes a sense of tranquility and natural beauty. The interior is cozy and thoughtfully decorated with excellent taste, making it feel like a home away from home. Every detail has been carefully considered, and the complimentary items provided were a lovely touch. The bedding was very comfortable, ensuring we all had a good night's sleep. One of the standout features of this accommodation is the fantastic communication from the hosts. The self check-in and check-out process was seamless and convenient, allowing for a stress-free experience for the whole family. The hot tub, ready to enjoy upon arrival, was the cherry on top of an already wonderful stay. It provided the perfect way for us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. While the bathroom is on the smaller side, it in no way detracts from the overall experience. The rest of the accommodation more than makes up for it with its spaciousness and comfort. In summary, this place is a hidden gem that deserves high praise. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautifully appointed retreat.

Cozy cabin near golden circle with panoramic views, que cuenta con vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con jardín y patio a unos 18 km de The Pearl. Beautiful, clean house with a bedroom and kitchen on the first floor and a small bedroom for the kids upstairs. We were able to enjoy a pre-heated hot tub and were even lucky enough to witness an aurora borealis during our stay!
