We used it as our base as we toured the southern coast for a few days. It was so warm and inviting; it was very clean and modern. The windows looking out from the little sitting area were huge so we could see a lot from inside. We didn't really use the kitchenette but it was very well equipped. The area is quiet, about a ten minute drive from Vík, but still perfectly situated because you're out in the country but not isolated. There were also other guests in the other cottages, but it was like we were there by ourselves. Added bonus: we could see the Northern Lights just over the mountain behind the cottages. It was an amazing place to stay!

Hólar nátturfoss 1 er staðsettur í 39 km fjarlægð frá Ljosifoss og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Þetta orlofshús er með verönd. Wonderful place, horses coming to welcome you from all sides. Cute and comfy it was a great first stay for us ‘in the wild’.

Iceland Inn Cabin er staðsett á Selfossi og státar af heitum potti. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. Gististaðurinn er reyklaus og er 38 km frá Geysi. Everything was great. You have all the things you may need and the house it is clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was a plus, we were able to see the aurora from there.

Audkula Dome Cabin er gististaður með garði og verönd, í um 35 km fjarlægð frá Seljalandsfossi. Þaðan er útsýni yfir ána. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis... The cabin was lovely, it was in a really beautiful location and we could not fault it. It was an amazing stay and we would recommend it to anyone for a night or two! The property was great, it had everything we needed. The brief time of getting in and out the shower was very chilly in -8° but once your under the water it was lovely and warm. Comes with the fun of having the outside shower :)

Iceland Inn Lodge státar af garðútsýni og öllu húsnæðinu með heitum potti. Gistirýmið er með garð og verönd og er í um 38 km fjarlægð frá Geysi. Heitur pottur er í boði fyrir gesti. The owner was nice and great with communications. Its a huge 4 bedrooms apartment, very clean and had everything we needed. The location is in a farm and very quiet and we loved it. We only stayed for 1 night and did not use the hot tub.

Hólmasel Riverside Cabin 2 er staðsett í Arabaer, aðeins 47 km frá Ljosifoss og býður upp á gistirými með fjallaútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The location is very secluded and we saw the northern lights there! There were no other people around so we can turn off the lights and enjoy the Aurora. Rooms were very nice and comfortable.

Lambhus Glacier View Cabins er með fjallaútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Það er staðsett á Höfn í 49 km fjarlægð frá Jökulsárlóni. small but very nice cabin with a kitchenette for a light meal. Fantastic view of glacier and mountain. Easy to check in and check out. 30mins drive to Jokulsarlon and to Hofn. 100% recommend.
