The apartment was spotless, modern, and beautifully designed – Smeg appliances, great aircon, and everything felt high quality. The pool area was lovely and really added to the experience. What truly made our stay special was the host – we had issues with our hire car (nothing to do with them), but they went above and beyond to help us out and were so kind and supportive throughout. Couldn’t recommend this place more – we’d definitely come back!

Great location and attantive staff - will defenitaly book again! The bar and pool area was a pleasant surprise!

Located in Como, 700 metres from Basilica of Sant'Abbondio and 1.1 km from Baradello Castle, Hidden Lodge - by MyHomeInComo offers air conditioning. This was an amazing apartment, honestly. I was reluctant to book it at first because we wanted something with a view but the minute we stepped in the apartment I knew it was the right choice. Check-in: comfortable, we met the person who gave us keys and directions on how to find/open doors. Apartment: super modern, smartly equipped, we didn’t cook but kitchen had it ALL. Unlike many rental apartments, you literally have everything you need for cooking. Now shower- biggest freaking shower I have ever seen, I want that in my home. There’s an internal yard (we haven’t figured out how to use the canopy, as it would’ve been comfortable on rainy days). The area: just minutes off from old town, there are couple of shops around and a supermarket 10 minutes away. One of the most important things for me- it was quiet and bed was very comfortable, so I had a great sleep. We will be coming back to Como and I’ll book this place again.

Chalet Como Lake - Dreamy Retreat, footpath only, a property with a garden, is set in Griante Cadenabbia, 1.7 km from Villa Carlotta, 30 km from Exhibition Center Lugano, as well as 30 km from... I felt compelled to write this, my first review with Booking.com, such was my brilliant experience with Marco and his friends and family! I was made so welcome, and found fast friends with my hosts, who invited me to the beach with them and were gracious enough to offer to share their dinner with me. The location is definitely only for the able bodied traveller. You must leave your car and hike from the road uphill with all your things on a track to reach the cabin. It was an adventure and so very worth it. Marco has worked hard to renovate the building and has made a charming space. The view is incredible, and is perfectly located to walk a further 20 minutes up the hill to a church with astonishingly beautiful and panoramic views of the lake for sunrise. Situated in Bellagio and only 11 km from Villa Melzi Gardens, Villa Chalet Bellagio Panorama features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Communication with the owner was excellent. And she provided a welcome gift of Panettone cake and wine, which was waiting for us on arrival. The Chalet was amazing and had everything we needed. So we had a wonderful stay.

Located in Argegno, CHALET MIELE provides accommodation with a saltwater pool, a balcony and pool views. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The house is part of a small Agriturismo just above the beautiful lake Como. A small path brings you to this quiet place in the midst of nature with great mountain views. The friendly owners help you with transportation of your luggage from the free parking place to the house. The house is well equipped and has a nice veranda to sit and relax. Our kids loved to swim in the pool. We very much recommend staying here, it exceeded our expectations (it looks better than at the pictures :)).

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Green Chalet Scalotta - Wonderful Terrace Lake and Mounts View Jacuzzi & Spa is located in Dervio. Excellent care from the very friendly owner of the property who is very helpful! We are very grateful :) Beautiful location, the chalet is freshly renovated, the owner has taken excellent care of the details and ecology. You can see that the host has put a lot of heart into this property. Being able to sort rubbish and put organic waste in the composter - took our hearts. Thank you for everything! And we heartily recommend this place :)

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, pool view and a balcony, Green Chalet Scalotta - Nature Relax Lake view with Jacuzzi and Spa is set in Dervio. We rented the entire house. Two families with 3 kids. The house is recently rebuild and looks great. It lies against the rocks and you can see the lake in the distance. It was very clean when we arrived and the furniture looked new. We especialy loved the terrace. Most of the daytime it is in the shades, only a short moment in the afternone there is sun. So it's the perfect cool spot to have breakfast and diner. You have private parking for your cars, just be carefull, the entrence is a bit small. Everyting is within walking distance. There's a small supermarket and bakery at a 5 minute walk. There is a bigger supermarket some 10 minute walk away from the house. The train station is also at 5 minute walking distance. So if you want to travel to see other towns around the lake, you can easily take the train. (it is cheap also) There are rocky beaches in the north and the south of Dervio, both can be reached on foot. It takes maximum 10 minutes. To conclude, a really nice house that exceeded our expectations at a really quiet spot but close to everything.
