Even before anything unexpected happened, I could already feel the care and heart behind every detail — from the cozy, welcoming rooms to the thoughtful free shuttle service to the ski slopes. But what touched me the most was the way Tom and his team cared for me after I got injured during my ski trip. It was a sudden and stressful situation — I had to go straight to the hospital, and my friend rushed over from another country. Throughout the whole process, Tom showed incredible empathy and offered flexible, genuine support, always putting himself in our shoes. Thanks to him, we were able to stay calm and manage the situation with much more ease than we could have on our own. This kind of kindness and personal care is something you rarely experience at a standardized hotel. Tom wasn’t just a host — he cared for me like an old friend, or even like family, despite us only having just met. I’m deeply grateful for everything Tom and his team did for me. This stay left me with not only comfort but also unforgettable warmth and true human connection. Nice friendly staff. Always very helpful. The food was great: excellent variety and delicious 😋 Rooms with air conditioning and beds were very comfortable 😌 Would recommend staying here. Shuttle bus to Appi Kogen ski resort was great (only around 800 metres). Some choose to walk to warm up. After midday, there were free shuttle buses returning from the resort every 30 minutes that stopped at House Appi diagonally across the road.
