It is definitely out of the way but for us who were doing the 88 temples driving was perfect wouldn’t suggest this for someone who was walking. The bath and shower facilities were out of this world.

Free coffee and soft drinks, and an onsen was included (we didn't even need to use the shower in our room). Really great value for the service we received!
