Very VERY kind and helpful hosts that offered me pickup/dropoff rides, a ride to the supermarket, and even a goodie bag on my way out. This made for the perfect penultimate day to my MCT thru-hike, could not have wished for anything better. Fully equipped kitchen, nice shower, bathtub, common room with TV and netflix, sheesh. Thank you!!!!

Located 15 km from Mount Bandai, YU・CABIN offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The cabin had free beer server and it was amazing.

Appi Life is Beautiful features city views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Hachimantai, 46 km from Morioka Station. The accommodation has a hot tub. this place was like a dream, the room was very cozy and comfy, great view, peaceful and private, surrounded by nature, yet there's shuttle vans to take you to the train staion or Lawson, the hosts were so kind and helpful, although we speak different languages but they're willing to help and the translator app was very handy XD I really appreciated the time I've spent there.

星逢える宿ー森のコテージ気仙沼 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Kesennuma, 17 km from Osabe-minato. Beautiful place, nice accommodation and very friendly staff. We felt very welcome and relaxed here. Would absolutely recommend this place.

Located in Shizukuishi, 30 km from Morioka Station and 14 km from Koiwai Farm, Pension Sanrinsha provides accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. Great ski location for Iwate Kogen Snow Park and Amihari Onsen Ski Resorts. The owner was very kind and hospitable, would recommend this lodge to my Aussie travellers. Owner provided lifts to Iwate Kogen Snow Park and Amihari Onsen Ski Resort.

Providing a restaurant and a bar, Lodge Scole is located in Zao Onsen, not far from Zao Onsen Ski Resort. Complimentary WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. The staff and food were amazing. The manager was extremely friendly and helped with local tips and generally made our trip smooth and care free. The chef had an excellent menu for both breakfast and dinner. Each meal was different and delicious. We felt right at home and really enjoyed the games available in the lounge, music, fire place, and Yuki the lodge dog. Don’t miss the hot tub to recover from the slopes!
