We loved the decoration of the place (was colorful and fun) and the gorgeous views! Everything was spotlessly clean - even the little aquarium (that’s right, you’ll share your space with 3 beautiful goldfish). Strong wifi connection, and close to the main road (yet you’ll only hear bird songs).

Priyanga was very kind and helpful, he cooked us the best meals that offered some variety from what ate on our trip, gave us good tips and helped us organise our next activity. He even preprared some homemade medicine for a sore throat! We are really grateful to have had him as our host, we will always remember his hospitality. Greetings to you, Priyanga! The house‘s location is a 10/10, less than a 15 min drive from the Adam‘s Peak start and is surrounded by a great landscape, especially in comparison to Dalhousie (where the hike starts), so it‘s really worth the short ride.

Die Unterkunft The Mount Lodge verfügt über Bergblick und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Terrasse, ungefähr 12 km von Hakgala Botanical Garden entfernt. Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit super Ausblick. Von dort aus waren es 10 min bis zum Wasserfall. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett , haben uns vom Bahnhof abgeholt und auch zurück gebracht. Es ist möglich dort zu frühstücken und sich Abend zu essen. Wir haben das Frühstück gegessen, es war sehr lecker. Man sollte nur wissen das die Unterkunft außerhalb liegt , mit dem eigenen tuk tuk schwer zu erreichen.

Die Unterkunft Daresh home stay ist in Maskeliya gelegen, 13 km von Berg Adam's Peak und 18 km von Hatton Railway Station entfernt. Daresh home stay is really wonderful - the rooms are clean, spacious and the balcony of our room overlooked a little stream which meant it was quiet set back from the road. Deva and his family are lovely people - they went above and beyond for us for one of our birthdays and were always checking in if we needed anything else. The food was amazing and they even packed us a delicious breakfast for our early bus the following morning. It’s really accessible by TukTuk to Sri Pada and I couldn’t recommend this place more! Thank you so much ☺️
