The architecture and interiors exude classic colonial charm—tastefully designed with elegant wooden floors, strong vintage-style beds, and lovely canopy curtains that echo a bygone era. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped. The bathroom had great water pressure, a powerful exhaust fan, and instant hot water—everything worked perfectly. The balcony opened to a serene view of the lake, adding to the peaceful ambiance. A small garden near the reception with chairs on request made for an ideal place to relax in the crisp mountain air. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly polite, warm, and attentive. They were always just a call away—offering tea and coffee generously, letting us use their kitchen, and always welcoming us with genuine smiles. I have stayed in many hotels across Asia, but it is rare to find such sincere and caring service. Highly recommended for a quiet, comfortable stay with exceptional hospitality.

The kind staff gave us a room upgrade, and delicious tea. We enjoyed the lush green views of the tea plants and the peace and quiet provided a great night of rest. Thank you to the incredible kind and accommodating staff!

Priyanga was very kind and helpful, he cooked us the best meals that offered some variety from what ate on our trip, gave us good tips and helped us organise our next activity. He even preprared some homemade medicine for a sore throat! We are really grateful to have had him as our host, we will always remember his hospitality. Greetings to you, Priyanga! The house‘s location is a 10/10, less than a 15 min drive from the Adam‘s Peak start and is surrounded by a great landscape, especially in comparison to Dalhousie (where the hike starts), so it‘s really worth the short ride.

Property was very clean, and the atmosphere pleasant for a holiday. The bedding and sofas were comfortable, and all necessities attended to. Privacy was ensured. Parking facility for a van was appreciated.
