La camera era molto spaziosa e pulita, con una vista bellissima sul lago. Il personale super cordiale, ci hanno preparato una colazione tipica buonissima, ci hanno aiutate con i bagagli e ci ha dato del miele fatto in casa da loro buonissimo per il nostro mal di pancia.

Situato a Hatton, lo chalet Tea Hills Bungalow vanta il WiFi gratuito nelle aree comuni. A beautiful place surrounded by tea plantations, with two small waterfalls just nearby. You can order a delicious dinner right at the property — everything we tried was amazing. The staff is very friendly, and thanks to the helpful manager Daya, we visited some big waterfalls and a scenic reservoir with stunning views. We’ll definitely come back next year!

The location is nice, though a bit far from the center; however, it is very peaceful, with no noise or disturbances. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate peace of mind. The cottage’s design is also very charming

A 1,4 km da Lago Gregory a Nuwara Eliya, Rustique Lodge mette a disposizione un alloggio con vista sulla montagna, WiFi gratuito e parcheggio privato gratuito. Questa struttura è davvero una chicca a Nuwara Eliya: si affaccia sul lago della città, per cui, ci si risveglia con una vista incredibile grazie ai colori azzurri e verdi della natura al punto tale da farti sentire davvero rigenerato. La camera è molto ampia, presenta infatti, un salotto con divani, TV, e tavolino e poi una stanza da letto con la vetrata da cui ammirare quel bellissimo panorama. Il bagno è piccolino, ma è presente tutto, lo renderei forse un po' più funzionale. Il giorno in cui abbiamo soggiornato ci sono stati problemi con la doccia, ma L'host ha cercato di risolvere immediatamente e si è scusato con noi. La colazione è davvero super abbondante e buona, tipica Sri lankese (ma eventualmente si può anche scegliere di optare per la English breakfast). L'host è stato davvero gentile e premuroso con noi e ci ha consigliato un locale dove andare a mangiare la sera davvero molto buono. La struttura non è vicino al centro di Nuwara Eliya, ma per noi questo non è stato un problema.

The Aayu Cottage si trova a Nuwara Eliya a solo 1,7 km da Lago Gregory e 5,5 km da Hakgala Botanical Garden. We loved the decoration of the place (was colorful and fun) and the gorgeous views! Everything was spotlessly clean - even the little aquarium (that’s right, you’ll share your space with 3 beautiful goldfish). Strong wifi connection, and close to the main road (yet you’ll only hear bird songs).

As dawn approached, we pulled back the curtains and were greeted by a sight that words can barely capture. The early morning sun slowly rose over the horizon, casting golden hues across the landscape. The sky transformed into a canvas of soft pinks and fiery oranges, and the light danced gently on the surface of the nearby dam. It was a moment so breathtaking, so pure, that even a million dollars couldn’t buy the feeling it gave us. The view of the dam itself was equally enchanting. Calm waters stretched out peacefully, reflecting the changing sky like a mirror. Birds skimmed the surface, and the surrounding hills stood quietly in the background, as if watching the sunrise with us. It wasn’t just a view—it was an experience, a memory etched into our hearts. In that quiet, golden hour, the room became more than just a place to stay. It became a sanctuary, a front-row seat to nature’s most exquisite performance.

Really nice, cozy place with very friendly and kind family. Breakfast were really good and dinners were amazing! Place was in calm area close to Shiva temple and bus.
