The facilities were also impressive —everything was in good working order and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Overall, it was great experience and nothing complain.

I strongly recommend this property for your stay in Kandy. Stayed there 2 nights and it was perfect. The property is located on the east side of the Kandy Lake and the downtown part of the city is on the opposite side of the lake, so you can experience a very quiet stay at Louis. Just 20-minute walk to the city centre. Very good price/quality ratio. The room is spacious, you've got big windows. The place is clean. Host is very nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back.

Located 13 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, The Cloud Resort provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. We stayed 1 night at the cloud, the views were absolutely amazing inside the room and outside of the room. The owner was very attentive even before we arrived at the cloud, really spent his time engaging with you about the surroundings, the resort and the spices and tea in the area. He couldn’t have done enough for you. Always at the end of the phone and even when we had left he wanted to know if we had reached our next destination safely due to the weather conditions and still was available if we needed anything. We had dinner in the room which was a traditional Sri Lankan dinner which was very yummy. We had a little family of lizards in the room which was equally lovely to hear them, could see bats flying outside catching the flies which was nice to watch. In the morning we were greeted by a gang of monkeys which was funny to watch and get some great pictures as they come up to the windows.

For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

This is the best guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. It’s in a perfect location, just outside the city, set on top of a hill with stunning views. The house is new, very clean, and beautifully designed. Ravi is a wonderful host and prepares absolutely delicious breakfasts. I couldn’t be happier with my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy.

Kandy River Lodge is located in Kandy, 2.6 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, 3.7 km from Kandy railway station, as well as 4.4 km from Bogambara Stadium. Nice place with comfortable beds. it's a newly build hotel. Host gave us a free drop service to the railway station. calm and quite atmosphere. They have rooms with river view balconies.

Providing mountain views, Paradise Point Nature Cabana Kandy in Kande provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The venue, arrangement, food and hospitality were all top tier. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

The view, the pool, the food, the house on its own and especially the hosts, who want to make you feel as comfortable as possible. It was all amazing!
