The owner and his wife are very very kind, Janith showed and explained a lot of things, animals/herbs, we had a fish pedicure in the waterfall next to our room, and the food was also exceptional, the ingredients coming directly fresh from their garden.

With mountain views, Rainforest Mount Lodge is situated in Deniyaya and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, snack bar, garden and year-round outdoor pool. The place is amazing, the family is super that care about you. Location is also good, it’s a place to be if you want to connect with the nature. Food was fantastic, one of the best curry that I ate. We also booked a six hours forest tour and we were lucky to see two types of monkeys, lizards etc.

Planned on staying for a night at first and ended up staying for almost 3 weeks! Really clean and comfortable rooms with fan& AC, perfectly located, quiet area, and one minute from the beach. The hosts were the kindest and made me feel like home! Had homemade breakfast (everyday it was something else) every morning on the porch with a fruit platter, always delicious and healthy! Stayed alone and with a friend, also perfect for couples and anyone looking for an amazing homestay near Midigama& Ahangama.

This place is truly a sanctuary of peace and pure nature. We arrived in the early afternoon, walking up a stone path, which was not a problem having light bags. The staff welcomed us warmly, and we immediately felt like being in paradise - the great valley views, forest, and small river. The room was super nice with wooden furniture, a comfy bed, a large outdoor lounge and a hammock. Later, we had a refreshing swim in the natural pool surrounded by forest. Dinner was great as well, really fresh and well combined local cuisine. In the night, we watched fireflies and bats buzzing around with sounds of frogs and crickets. It was nicely cool, and we even had the windows open to enjoy the sounds and have a breeze. Surprisingly, there were not many mosquitos due to the higher altitude. We highly recommend staying a few days more, which we will do when coming next time.

Located within 1.4 km of Midigama Beach and 24 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium, Tree House-Midigama provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Weligama. The treehouse is amazing - we had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! I can highly recommend staying here. The property was really peaceful and relaxing. We wish we had more time to spend here and explore the lovely garden.

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax. So close to the beach. Right in town as well. Delicious breakfast, wonderful hosts.

Nice quiet location, a unique place to stay. Lots of wildlife to see. Extremely clean and tidy. Large kitchen and also a fridge which came in handy during our stay.

Set in Dickwella in the Matara District region, Pixie Haven Lodge Hiriketiya features a balcony and garden views. Nice big apartment. Lots of space and modern facilities.

Ripple by the river features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Weligama, 2.1 km from Weligama Beach. This property is like a safari. We saw so much wildlife during our stay. The Air conditioner works very good and the WiFi is strong.
