The rooms are pretty basic but they are clean and smell amazing. The owner is so helpful and the food was delicious. There aren’t windows but the net over the bed kept the mosquitos out. We really enjoyed our stay. Kalpitiya is pretty spread out but we had a motorbike so got around okay.

'The Suite' by Wildhideaway ligger i Wilpattu med udsigt til en have. Her er en udendørs swimmingpool, en terrasse og en restaurant. Der er også gratis wi-fi. Wow, what a little gem this place is. Highly recommend letting the Wildhideaway team look after you while you visit Wilpattu National Park. The suite was very spacious even for a family of 4. The bathroom was huge and modern with a nice hot water shower. The plunge pool was delightful, so refreshing. Location was so quiet and the air conditioner worked perfectly so made for very comfortable sleep. They arranged our full day safari at a good price, we didn’t need to do anything but turn up. They packed breakfast and lunch for us and then had dinner ready when we came home! The thing that made this place so special was the warm and friendly service from Anta and his team. Always there with a huge smile, making us feel so welcome, and the food they made for us (as vegetarians) was SO delicious, the best we’ve had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka.
