With mountain views, Ferney Nature Lodge is set in Mahébourg and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. We went for a guided hike in the morning and enjoyed learning about all the wildlife and plant live. We had lunch near the ocean in the sister restaurant and then checked in. The rooms are very nice. We felt like we were in a scene from Jurassic Park. The pool is small but very relaxing (especially with a tropical drink in your hand). At night, we sat on the porch, listening to wild boars roaming around and watching the bats searching for food. Dinner was amazing. We ate in the lodge and had the wild boar caught in the surrounding area. It was so delicious. The morning breakfast consisted of fresh local fruits, eggs any way you wanted, and so much more. The staff were very attentive and really wanted to make your stay the best of experiences.

Had an exceptional stay here. The hosts are some of the kindest people I‘ve met on the island. Nice outdoor kitchen with all necessary utensils. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

We spent one wonderful night here and were blown away by the incredible love and hospitality shown by the owner and his son, Simon. Despite our late arrival, they went above and beyond. They not only gave us a complete tour of their beautiful property but also made sure we caught the sunset from the top of the hill. The highlight was the impromptu dinner: the owner picked two fresh eggplants directly from their garden and prepared herbs for our meal. This place is fantastic for nature lovers and those who appreciate true sustainability and kindness. A truly memorable and welcoming stay!

The stay here is an experience, the whole domain is very pretty and the staff is so present and friendly. The little farm with animals, the awesome food and the beautiful nature is the highlight here. Would definitely book again!

Excellent villa with private pool, beach access and located in not so crowded area. Great service and attention from the staff. One day wi-fi was not working due to some technical failure and Davina personally spent time to make sure that technician fixed the issues. We went for fishing and caught some fish. Sapna did the cooking and curry was outstanding. Overall very clean, nice and well equipped property. Pool was a really nice bonus. Recommended for a romantic holiday.
