Surrounded by the Black River Natural Park and the mountains of Chamarel, Lakaz Chamarel Exclusive Lodge offers sweeping ocean views. The lodge is 6 km from La Goulette village. Incredible property, rooms lovely, very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views throughout. The food was excellent and dinner menu changed daily. What made this stay so memorable were the staff - very warm, welcoming, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

La Vieille Cheminée is situated on a 200-acre farm in Charamel and is surrounded by two rivers, indigenous trees and forest. It features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace and garden. I loved the concept of staying in a cabin on an eco farm and having the staff fill my fridge with prepared meals for me to heat when ready. It combined the best aspects of camping without having to worry about meal prep or sleeping on the ground. My bed was extremely comfortable and the AC kept my room at a reasonable temperature. I thoroughly enjoyed going for walks around the farm (tip: bring hiking boots) and taking late afternoon dips in the pool, which had stunning views. I requested vegetarian meals and they were always delicious (also the portions were huge -- I was able to save some leftover food from my dinners to eat for lunch on the following days). I took a farm tour with Sophie on my last morning and it was so interesting to learn about the different plants and animals that live on the farm. All of the staff were extremely helpful, but Sophie really went out of her way to make my stay perfect. I am already dreaming about coming back again someday!

The lodge is perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet, natural surroundings and wanting to be self sufficient. Maë was a super helpful host giving me local recommendations and being very flexible when my arrival plans changed. I enjoyed my stay so much!

The accommodation was ideal for a couple. The position was ldylic for us, as was close to the beach and the river. The use of a car as it not close to shops or restaurants was a bonus

Located in Tamarin, 600 metres from Tamarin Beach and 6.5 km from Tamarina Golf Course, Holiday Surf Lodge offers air conditioning. The apartment is great, with terrace and everything you need. Different lights incide the house make it cosy. Host was very kind, reply quickly, always interested in my comfortable staying. Kitchen is full equipped, bed is soft, there are always internet and hot water. Thank you so much, it was pleasure to spend my time here!
