Off-the-grid cabin on the island of Senja in northern Norway ligger i Vangsvik. Her er en have, gratis wi-fi og bjergudsigt. A beautiful, practical cabin, in which the space has been very well utilised. It is well equipped, and has all the facilities most will need. The heated floors in the hallway were nice. Really lovely bathroom. The view and the surroundings are beautiful, and we really appreciated how private and secluded it was - on our second morning we woke up to the sight several moose chewing on branches not far from the cabin. The hosts are very friendly, and they were quick to answer. All in all, we had a great stay, and feel very comfortable recommending it to others.

It was a combination of my favorite parts of hotels and hostels - lovely, private room with a view, with shared common areas and a kitchen to cook in. They had rental gear for outdoor activities as well!

Senja arctic lodge ligger i Stonglandseidet. Her er en have, gratis wi-fi og bjergudsigt. Lodgen ligger i et område hvor gæsterne kan deltage i aktiviteter såsom at stå på ski og cykle. We were amazed by the size of the place, we thought it would be cramp with 5 rooms but it did not feel cramp at all for the 5 of us. The house has all the utensils you need to cook, do note the fridge does not have a freezer but no issue for us as we were there during winter. Unfortunately we only saw the northern lights for a few minutes during our 3 nights stay and a very weak one too, due to cloudy skies, low solar wind and bright moon. Nonetheless the surrounding area was beautiful and we had the balcony to look out to the opposite side Katherine was very hospitable and responsive. She took great pride in decorating her place with all the Christmas decoration, lighted fireplace, candle light to welcome us. Definitely a place to book!
