My friend and I felt just like we were at our parents' home—only without the usual barrage of questions and advice, just warm hospitality! Cozy space, super comfy beds, and the food was delicious (shoutout to lomo saltado!). The hosts are such a sweet couple who genuinely cared for us, they such good care of us, even getting up extra early to make breakfast before our departure. Highly recommend!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, The Lazy Dog Inn is situated 7 km from Huaraz, and 3,650 metres above sea level. Almost all units include a balcony and/or patio. The main lodge area is very cozy, with many books and games, and I played Scrabble with a friendly German couple there in front of the fireplace. The manager was able to arrange driver service, since it is somewhat remote from the town itself, in a nice setting.
