From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and at home. The facilities are excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The shower had reliably hot water (a big plus!), and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and satisfying every day. You can feel the care and love Ricky puts into everything he does. His two friendly dogs and super cuddly cat made the place feel even more like home. I can’t recommend staying here enough—thank you for everything, Ricky!

Eva and Ivan are exceptional and received us very well, they are always available to help and share experiences. It felt like home. The breakfast is delicious and different each day. The rooms are spacious with a nice view. Next time in Huaraz I will definitely stay there again.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, The Lazy Dog Inn is situated 7 km from Huaraz, and 3,650 metres above sea level. Almost all units include a balcony and/or patio. Amazing food and filling portions. Great place to acclimatise or treat yourself to some luxuries after a hike. Great advice on hikes.
