The location is fascinating and the staff here are so kind especially Gabi with her welcoming smile and Juan Carlos who accompanied us all the way to our rooms and back to the dining room.

With mountain views, Llactapata Lodge overlooking Machu Picchu - camping - restaurant is situated in Salcantay and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. We booked Llactapata Lodge for the last night of the Salkantay trek. Heaved ourself up the mountain and arrived to surely one of the most stunning panaramas in the world: a beautiful display of sun and rainbows framing Machu Picchu in the distance. Same view from the bed and in the (hot and good!) shower of the cute little hut perched on the ridge. Food was good and copious! It's not a 'luxury' hotel but it was luxury for us after the trail. We arrived a bit earlier than the staff expected us (1.30ish) and they don't really provide lunch but they gave us mountains of popcorn! There are worse ways to spend the afternoon than with popcorn and beer watching epic skies over Machu Picchu. Really magical place.

Situated in Pisac, Sonidos del Ande Wasi features mountain views and free WiFi, 36 km from Wanchaq Train station and 28 km from Pukapukara. The family is amazing- I learned more Spanish from Tania and a bit of Quechua, too. The hostel has many beautiful plants and it feels very tranquil. Thanks! I hope to be back:)

With mountain views, Spirit Of The River Lodge is located in Cusco and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The property was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were so comfortable and the views spectacular. Claudia was the most wonderful and kind host, with the best recommendations and delicious food. Their llama Tupac and dog Max were amazing, and we loved every moment we spent there. We will definitely come back, and are so grateful for their hospitality.

Amazing choice The owners have been so nice to me! They took me out for dinner and drove me to the airport in the morning! Very greatful for everything!!!

It’s in a great location away from everything. There is a beautiful river nearby and a great stroll through the jungle as well. There is lots of wildlife. We saw all sorts of mammals and birds. The cabins are beautifully made and the very comfortable and clean. The shower is exceptional. They even offer you gumboots which are great to get around in.
