Going to the forest with Mario was amazing. I saw In nature everything I wanted to see: snakes, caymans, numerous birds and parrots, slots!! They are so cute! The jungle exploration was fantastic. The same warm was welcoming by community. This is the lodge I defined advice! I was in couple places in amazon and here you really feel like you become part of amazon. But didn’t come to some commercial hotel. I like them but definitely not good choose when you want to explore the jungle! Camungo lodge in Livertad is perfect choice. And the comfort of houses was great! They are newly builded! everything is nice and super clean!

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.

Libertad Jungle Lodge tilbyder indkvartering i Yucuruche med en terrasse. Gæster hos lodgen kan fiske og sejle i kano i nærheden eller få mest muligt ud af stedets have. My guide Larry met me at the airport and we travelled to the lodge. Although it was 3 hours time went fast watching the landscape go by. It was dry season for my visit so unfortunately the river way very low and the lodge was not on the river as per photographed on booking. I do wish this was explained. Otherwise i had an amazing 5 days. The accommodation was clean, the food was ok. It was different everyday but simple. My guide Larry was exceptional. His knowledge of the jungle, outstanding, and his English was perfect. We made a plan on arriving for what it would like to do in my time. Highlight was the caiman night tour and lily pads.
