It was a perfect ending for our hike through the island. Wine, electric fireplace, and magnificent view to the sunset in Atlantic Ocean. The place also has a small pool with a view to the ocean, but it was too cold for us to try it. The housekeeper, Maria, was very nice and helpful.

A spacious, clean, and bright apartment in an extremely central location, within a 5-minute walk to all the main attractions in the city. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. The host was very helpful, providing all kinds of information, always prompt, and ready to assist with anything you might need. It exceeded my expectations, and I believe it’s one of the best accommodations I’ve had, considering I travel quite a lot. I will definitely return!

Aamupala oli hyvä ja runsas; tuoretta leipää, munia, hedelmiä, leivoksia, maitoa, piimää, jne. Proteiinia olisi voinut olla enemmän. Aamupala tarjoiltiin mökkiin, mikä oli mukava juttu. Sijainti oli super kaunis ja yksityinen, mutta kaukana kaikesta. Täytyy olla auto, jos haluaa liikkua. Check-in ja check-out oli super helppoja, avaimet noudettiin sekä palautettiin lukittuun boksiin.

Very very very nice place. Super clean and comfy rooms. Best shower we had in our trip. The fire place is super cozy. You can do some great walk around the house. Our host where very kind. Set in Ponta do Sol and only 700 metres from Lugar de Baixo Beach, Tabua Lodge offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Location was excellent for our needs, away from any crowds and in a peaceful area but within a reasonable and pleasant walk along the promenade to local town with good restaurants and bars. The space and facilities within the property were excellent, kitchen had everything we could possibly need, bed extremely comfortable and a really good and luxurious shower and separate bath. The pool and outdoor spaces were perfect with sun on the property for the majority of the day until early evening. The entire place was really clean and attractive and well kept gardens an added bonus. Our host, Richard, was extremely helpful and approachable and responded to any queries promptly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should we return to Madeira.

Mountain Chalet by Lavibes is a recently renovated chalet in São Vicente, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Such a beautiful location!! Pictures don’t do it justice. Easy self check in, clean and very nicely decorated.

Very stylish interior and exterior. Quiet, great privacy. Wonderful garden with flowers and tropical fruits, and ocean view with sunset. Great, responsive host.
