It is within any easy walk to the charming town of Geres and near the hiking trails of Peneday Geres. The pool is clean and absolutey beautiful, tucked under a huge Palm tree with the river nearby. Our villa was quiet and private. The hosts, Susana and Tomas were a delight, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Beautiful location overlooking the valley and river. Very quiet in the woods. Great hospitality by the owner. They provided a nice breakfast delivered to our treehouse door each morning. We also ordered their charcuterie board and wine for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Lots of cheeses, meats, nuts , fish, bread and more. We had enough for 2 nights. Would recommend to those wanting a unique experience in a natural setting.

Situé à Vieira do Minho et offrant une vue sur le cours d’eau, l’établissement Solar do Cávado comprend une piscine extérieure ouverte en saison, un salon commun, une terrasse, un restaurant et un... The breakfast offers a great variety, good quality and fresh products. The room was quiet and the large opening windows offer a spectacular view of the lush green surroundings. No other sounds here than birds, wonderful to keep the window open at night. The river is only a 3 minute walk down the mountain, and offers great swimming or kayaking. Joana and Nathalia are so lovely, they work swiftly and did everything they could to make us feel at home and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel kitchen offers snacks and complete meals (dinner), highly recommended! The food is delicious and plentyful, really incredible value for money. All in all, this is a really great place to stay!

L’établissement Oak Nature se situe à Vieira do Minho, à respectivement 3,1 km et 5,9 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Lac de Canicada et Sanctuaire de São Bento da Porta Aberta. I stayed here on March 17th, 2025. This was the best hotel in Portugal. It had amazing views, a great staff and great amenities. I will stay here frequently.

There's a good river beach 10min walking, and the swimming pool is pleasantly warm during summer. If you are on a workation, the included wifi works great.

Location is perfect, because the house is upright the beach. The view from window is amazing. The design and arquitectural project are very nice. You have everything needed inside the house, even outside grill and very nice terrace. Perfect for 1 couple and 1 or 2 kids. Or 2 couples, but 1 room is a passage room, but still comfy. The place is very cozy, garage is a huge bonus for easy parking.
