The cabin we stayed in was very clean, little kitchen has everything to make a simple dinner (microwave oven only) if you don't want to eat at the restaurant by the complex. The view is gorgeous! Must visit!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Papak River House. The location is perfect, surrounded by greenery with the river just steps away. The rooms were amazing, very clean, and had everything I needed. The hosts are very friendly, polite, and always ready to help with anything. They take the experience to the next level. There are two super friendly dogs that you can pet and many beautiful birds around, which adds to the peaceful and natural atmosphere. They also provide bikes, and the ride around the nearby rice fields is absolutely breathtaking. The pool and seating area by the river are stunning and make the whole experience incredibly relaxing.

Per raggiungerlo è molto consigliato l’uso di una macchina e di un navigatore: dopo aver lasciato la strada principale bisogna girovagare per alcune strade secondarie fino all’ingresso del piccolo complesso dove si trova la casa della proprietaria e l’appartamentino. Per entrare in quest’ultimo bisogna salire una piccola scala fino ad un ballatoio che affaccia a perdita d’occhio su una splendida risaia che si popola la mattina di uccelli a caccia di cibo. L’appartamento è molto spazioso e dotato di tutti i confort inclusa una bellissima tv e una cucina attrezzata. La cucina è fondamentale perchè i pochi ristoranti in zona chiudono presto ed è opportuno arrivare al cottage avendo già comprato il cibo che si vuole preparare e consumare. Se si arriva tardi, come è successo a noi, con 10-15’ di auto si può arrivare ad un grande centro commerciale rifornito di tutto e che chiude tardi. Per la colazione bisogna mettersi d’accordo con la proprietaria (decidere cosa mangiare e dove, la colazione va pagata a parte in contanti) ed è una bella esperienza mangiarla sul ballatoio osservando gli uccelli fare la loro colazione.

We were very well taken care of by Dereck and Anne. The place lives up to its name. It is perfect for disconnecting from crazy city life. Rooms are clean and breakfast is delicious.

We had the most fantastic stay at Apple bungalows with great accommodation and the most lovely, kind host. The bungalows are spacious and very comfortable with a separate lounge boasting a large sofa and table - to be honest the photographs do not do it justice! There is a large outdoor, shaded deck with table and chairs that make a lovely spot to sit surrounded by beautiful gardens. The pool is large and the perfect temperature. The whole resort is spotlessly clean and very spacious. This place is perfect but we always say that people make places and that could not be more true in this case! Apple is such a great host that goes above and beyond to make your stay exceptionally memorable. I had a minor accident at the beach and Apple’s family even accompanied me to the hospital for a check up to make sure I was ok. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, absolutely superb! We extended our stay and will be returning.
