I was not feeling well (tummy issue) at the end of our stay, and Gaye and Erol kindly made me meals that I could have. We befriended a local 🐈 and our unit felt like home. Chatting to other guests at breakfast, it was evident that many were returning for up to the 6th time. When it was time to leave, we felt that we would love to stay here again. Portolimo is a place where you can completely relax, unwind, and wash away your cares. If you enjoy cycling, there are bicycles available at no cost, and you can explore the village and surroundings at your leisure. Portalimo was absolutely fabulous 👌

Situato nella splendida baia di Kabak, l'Avalon Bungalows offre una vista spettacolare sul Mar Egeo. The location and staff at this property are exceptional. The view was one of the best we experienced our entire time in Türkiye. And the staff was so kind. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be: from loaning is a book about hikes in the area, to preparing breakfast to go when we had to leave at 5am. Truly amazing service.

We rented house number three. It's a separate house for five people, with two double beds in two rooms and a single bed in the second room, plus a kitchen. The owner provided everything we needed for our stay, including an iron and dishwasher tablets. There's also a good washing machine. The house is decorated in the traditional minimalist style of a Turkish highland village. There's a small pool on the property, which is maintained daily by a wonderful person. This pool refreshed us after returning to the house, as our goal was to explore the surroundings of Dalaman. By the way, the best beach in the Dalaman district, with its crystal-clear water, is Sarsala Bay. You should definitely visit it; it's a magnificent place for swimming and a great place for Instagram photos. And if you're an experienced driver and want to see for yourself, visit Asi Koyu. An unforgettable road trip! The house offers quick access to Istuzu Beach and the beaches of the Sarigerme resort. But the best is undoubtedly Sarsala. Dalaman Airport is a 30-minute drive away. If you want to feel the spirit of a Turkish highland village, I recommend this place.
