With river views, Baker & Sons Safari Company is set in Kwangwazi and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Outstanding experience, welcoming and attentive staff, great food, excellent coordination of activities- sunset cruise and game drive. Rooms were well designed and bed very comfortable. TV, hot water, and beautiful view of the river. An amazing experience- we’ve been on many safaris and this was one of our favorite experiences! Saw many animals! Pool will soon be done so that is a big plus especially for hot season. Very budget friendly too.

With garden views, Africa Safari Selous Nyerere national park is located in Nyakisiku and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The way that the location is run co-exists perfectly with Julius Nyerere National Park, and on top of that the facilities were perfect, food was tasty and the location is beautiful. The staff were also extremely helpful to the point where I can say they saved us! We had been let down by TAZARA train services so we’re going to be stranded, but the safari manager helped us to arrange a very reasonably priced private charter flight on only a few hours’ notice. We opted to take a game drive, and our guides were extremely experienced and knowledgeable. We were able to see species I’d only ever seen on TV or in movies and even a pride of lions with cubs (very rare to see in the daytime). Highly recommend the whole offering of this establishment.

Situated in Kwangwazi, Selous River Camp provides a restaurant. The lodge offers a sun terrace and a riverbank swimming pool. Complimentary private parking is available on site. Absolutely breathtaking. Don't hesitate. Amazing staff, food, location, facilities. Bucket list. Selous is incredible, there was elephants in our driveway. So, so many animals in the park, only a 15 minute drive from camp. Super safe with Maasai at the camp. Absolute bucket list. Food was incredible. Do not hesitate.
