NetherlandsThe accommodation is very beautifully designed and tranquil, a total surprise when you enter the gate. Its a small and intimate accommodation, quiet but very well layed out, more like a huge house with galleries with large and well-designed comfortable rooms, very nice interior, spotless clean, very safe with guards at the gate. There are several terraces outside where you can sit. Its very close at the airport in Alvalade. The breakfast is equally nice and fresh, beautifully presented fruits, a bit of everything, your eggs are freshly prepared for you in person. Madame Fatima has been more than great to me. She awaited me late at night as my flight was delayed, and she drove me all the way back around midnight to the airport to track down the taxi driver to find my mobile, which I lost in his car. Even the next day and the day after. As my flight was late the next day, she offered me to stay all next day in the room. When I returned home, she left me a message that she actually found my phone for me. I have never ever felt so really being seen as a person, so looked after and truly cared about. I cannot recommend this more. Thank you so so much Madame Fatima, I will come back next time to do it in person!

Because of our long stay, we also created a close relationship with the staff. Everyone was very attentive. A very special thanks to Laura, you are a class act. Beautiful city and very clean in some parts.
Beautiful city and very clean in some parts. Other parts are really filthy with lots of rubbish. The people are friendly, the food isn't bad; sometimes too salty and not spicy enough. The weather is wonderful, sunny but cool. The traffic is unbearable. There are mosquitoes, so come prepared. It's a place I would visit again.

Visa or Mastercard is not widely accepted at all places. and some shops only take Cash but does not have change for larger notes that the ATM's give you.
the Beach front restaurants mostly do take Visa/Mastercard and most CBD hotels. but the further you stay/travel outside Luanda most places only take cash(small notes) and local bank cards.

I had big misconceptions about Angola. I was impressed arriving 19 o'clock in hotel that is private security, very gentle people. Next morning breakfast.
Ana was wonderful in all the support and communication. Great location also to walk till center and water promenade. I've couldn't choose better, especially that Luanda is famous for hotel prices that have nonsense

Close to airport for overnight between flights internally from international arrivals. Clean. Tidy. Staff however poor on English and one cannot under any circumstance rely on the hotel shuttle. Even if you send a message on bookings.com you will be stranded at the airport. You must find someone who speaks Portuguese to arrange and even then they get it wrong.

The best hotel in Luanda but the price is scary compared to other locations around the world, so Angola needs to re-think their strategy, seriously and stop milking foreigners to so politely bring foreign currency.
