The "big" town is 20 mins of nice walk or 10 mins on bicycle.

United KingdomBeautiful large old hotel, that dates back to the 1500s. Large room, comfortable beds, great Wifi, and charming owners and staff. Excellent fish dinner, good coffee and lovely architecture. Has a free sauna and steam room on request, which was very clean and refreshing. They got us cards to get into an excellent local swimming pool for half price too. Would recommend it, and we hope to come back.

Alpentheme Ehrenberg/Reutte, Ehrenberg Castles with Highline (suspension bridge), Lumagica night light show at the castle (only in winter time). I would recommend the high wire for an adventure.
I would recommend the high wire for an adventure. The view of Reutte from above is amazing. And the history of the castle ruins gives an incite to life in the area long ago. There are also very beautiful lakes for walks and the alps for hiking and skiing.

The hotel is exceptionally decorated, all tiny details and superb hospitality of the team make the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was good, the dinner was very tasty. Plenty of parking place, chargers for electric cars are available. The sauna is available by request without extra charge.

Great location, easily accessible when passing through Austria from Germany. The offered free breakfast was great (including coffee, breakfast cereal, milk, yoghurt - even soy milk), especially considering it was advertised as no breakfast. Spacious room and easy late check-in.

The price-performance ratio is very good, the hotel is in a good location where you can reach Neuschwanstein Castle within 30 minutes.
