Vienna is lovely and the Christmas markets engaging despite that much of what is being sold being ridiculously expensive vs buying the same things in normal shops & or online. There are wonderful museums & galleries. Some of the concerts are ripping off tourists by charging huge amounts for insipid & uninspiring performances, despite that they are performed in God’s houses (cathedrals & churches). Many Austrians were charming and helpful but too many come across as curt to the point of downright rudeness.

Lovely grand city, felt spacious and safe walking around as a couple. Impression was it was very clean and well managed.
I found the Upper Belvedere Museum underwhelming and if you're hoping to see the famous Klimt pictures there's only a few including 'The Kiss' to see. Some listed as being there weren't on show. Also despite the building being large there seemed to be very little art there. The Leopold museum on the other hand was fantastic - great art, space and no tourist crowds when we visited.

3. Buy the underground ticket to get around
4. Buy the combined SiSi palace pass, you can go in when you want to and aren’t restricted to a time slot.
5. Try some of the smaller more traditional coffee shops and restaurants. If there is a huge queue, they’ve seen it on Instagram

Just so much to pack in, from Christmas markets, historical palaces, museums, art galleries, cafes and restaurants, shopping and beautiful walks through gardens and architectural beauty.
Transport was fantastic, trams, metro and trains were all in central locations and regular services.
Clean city, lots of seating and toilet facilities available.
Would recommend for families, culture and historical lovers, couples and singles.

We traveled outside Vienna and in the city , walking the streets and enjoying the beautiful architecture and all the art , just wonderful !

Many great musuems, i suppose, spoiled by a miserable ticket sales setup and entrance. It was not busy, Queue 5+ mins to buy tickets and +5mins queue to walk through a door with said ticket. Gave up on Museums. These museums really need to rethink their process.

I visited Vienna for a week on the early Spring of 2024 and stayed at the Hotel Stefanie.
Hotel Stefanie is the oldest hotel in Vienna and it does live up to the name. The hotel has a charming 19th Century atmosphere without sacrificing modern amenities. Rooms are super-clean and staff is very helpful and polite. The location is exceptional for anyone visiting the city centre.
Hotel Stefanie is not the most luxurious or biggest hotel in Vienna but it is great value for the price. I would not hesitate staying at this hotel again.

Great hotel! Perfect location, quiet, very close to the city centre! But the most important: stuff at the reception and during the breakfast was absolutely amazing! Breakfast is not cheap, but still great value for money. Very clean, every small detail is important for the stuff! Delicious! Its 100% sure, that going back to Vienna, I take the same hotel. And recommend to the others! Estonians love this hotel! You never regret, booking this hotel!

The breakfast was very decent. Location was a bit far from city centre, but the tram stop was literally outside the hotel, and it goes straight to places like Stephansplatz. And the train station was right at the corner, from where you could easily get to Vienna central train station and the airport

A nice hotel located a bit outside the city centre but close to the metro, so easy to travel around Vienna. The hotel is close to Danube and a park, perfect for morning runs. Sound isolation is great, no noise. The room was very clean and spacious. We have enjoyed our weekend there.

Nice hotel in Vienna. Not very close to the city centre, but it’s easily reachable by bus or walking (about 30 min walk). Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is simple but not extortionate and the room was not overcrowded.
