IndiaAn amazing experience to stay at JW Marriott. The staff was very courteous and caring. Rooms were very nice and had great views. The best part was the breakfast at Citrique which has one of the most elaborate spreads that I had seen. Lots of options for vegetarian as well. And desserts that were quite delicious.
The pool area is also very nice and cozy. Lots of lounging chair. They even have a large heated pool and a heated jacuzzi. Don't miss them if you are there.

The Gold Coast is a great place to visit with young or old families.
There are plenty of theme parks and attractions to visit within 1hr drive of Surfers paradise.
We'd recommend allowing 7 to 10 days overall for your stay.. depending on what you want to go and see.
We had a big group of 15 people ranging from 15yrs to 63yrs and enjoyed visiting 3 out of the 4 main theme parks.
We also traveled to the Sunshine coast as part of our stay so our days were really packed with things to do.
If you can, try have a down day with nothing planned between visiting main attractions, when you are traveling with large groups it can be tiring having things to do every day. We reserved "in between" days for shopping,surfing and nature walks.

I visited the Gold Coast in 1998 and had a great time. This time was just as enjoyable. It has the best of all worlds......beautiful scenery, wildlife parks and thrill rides at the theme parks for those who want them. It didn't disappoint!

I once lived in Miami and this was a deja vu experience. If you had kids or lived somewhere without beaches, it'd be a great destination. And the 50 cent transit fares are great! The hinterlands are beautiful, as is Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Our stay was for a family get together for Christmas, 50 of us.
Loved convenience to other facilities, e.g. surf club and river.
We ate breakfast every morning at surf club, dinner there twice.
Used uber for dinner two nights, Kin Pin and Collective, both great eateries.
Would avoid too many e-scooters and bikes on boardwalk.

I have been to the Gold Coast many times and on this occasion I was only away for one night as I'd had a long day travelling by public transport from the Moreton Bay District and then driving a car I purchased down there through after school traffic (a bit nightmarish but we survived). What I would say to those who have a bit of time to spare is, explore the "green behind the gold" i.e. the hinterland especially Mount Tamborine, and also go over the border a bit into NSW and experience the Northern Rivers, I like to visit Murwillumbah and the Tweed Regional Gallery / Margaret Olley Art Centre

My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and we stayed for 3 days. Main beach was amazing 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Strong waves had to be careful at times while swimming and playing with the waves. We loved walking on the beach hand in hand at sunset which was magical.
There was plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to choice from for breakfast and dinner in walking distance. Book for dinner if you want to eat your favourite food specially on a Saturday. Loved catching the G rail to surfers Paradise which was 10 mins walk to the station from the apartment. 50 cent one way fare.

Fantastic location, facilities and amazing apartment. It was exactly as described, wonderful apartment facilities. Room for the family, amazing views and right in the centre of the gold coast. Hotel was amazing, wonderful for an extended family holiday. Apartment manager has wonderful communication and very helpful. Apartment and views as per listing. Amazing views over beach and skyline.

Hidden gem this property on the Gold Coast! Excellent value, the room, bed and pillows were comfy, nice balcony with view of the ocean. Large bathroom with a spa as an added bonus. Excellent location with a tram stop right outside the hotel providing easy access to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. Definitely look forward to staying here again in the near future.

Great hotel. Great location and great rooms. It was new years so the noise was to be expected from the club down next door. Not bothered by that. Great value. It was $500 cheaper than all the others plus some for the 3 nights.
