PolandThe apartment was stylish, spacious and well furnished, the bathroom was clean and comfy, but things that made our stay exceptional was an amazing Spanish girl from the front desk, who was very friendly, helpful, she introduced us to the facilities of the hotel, informed us about surroundings, the city, recommended the bar on the top floor with an amazing view. We were also able to check-in earlier since our room was ready. I really appreciate the hotels that has check-out at the hour that doesn’t force guests to set an alarm in a phone, and The StandardX is one of them (human-friendly hotel) - standard check-out is at 12:00. Really recommend that place!

Lots to see and do in Melbourne. Plenty of gardens. Museums are first rate. Cricket grounds are within walking distance of CBD hotels. Great coffee and lots of good restaurants. Public transportation, other than to/from the airport is super easy and they go everywhere.

Melbourne, especially in the CBD area is fantastic. Plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Walking distance to everything. Let's also remember how good the public transport is! Free trams in certain zones. Trains to everywhere and buses as well.

Just a Cool City although very busy in City Centre. But lots of events and activities to get yourself involved in. The Airport is a about 30-40 minutes away from the City. When leaving plan on getting to the Airport earlier than later as it is very busy and a lot of traffic going there at the same time as you would be. So, you don't want any last-minute panics or stress!
There is plenty of public transport and all forms so I guess you can get to almost everywhere you want to go.

Melbourne was the first city that we lived in Australia, the year was 2001.
Since then we could observe many changes, particularly in the excessive number of apartment buildings.
The city is still vibrant and easy to move around.
In summary, we still call Melbourne home.

Melbourne is a beautiful city, but even better when all the buildings are lit up for Xmas.
Plenty of great cafes and restaurants.
We had a very nice lunch at Vapiano Italian Restaurant, Cnr Swanston and Burke Street, Level !.
Caught a tram out to a show at Chapell off Chappel Theatre which is a great venue.
Jackpot Bar at the Casino also good for a drink.

Melbourne is fantastic. The Savoy Hotel WAS NOT. Trams are an amazing way to travel around the city and then into surrounding areas. Public transport is excellent. Weather is a challenge but that is part of the wonder of the city. Shopping is great so enjoy that experience. The restaurant you absolutely MUST visit is "I love dumplings" at St. Kilda. You can catch tram 96 from the city. Food is superb.

Winston Apartments are within the free tram line that circuits Melbourne CBD, but also is a 12 minute walk to DFO and great Wharf cafes and restaurants. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet, with great views. There is a tram stop right outside of Winston apartments with a short trip by tram to the railway and bus station stop. A Woolworths supermarket is across the road for self catering. Great value for money with great communication from Winston Apartments.Definitely recommend.

The location was convenient and accessible to the Melbourne CBD. There was a tram stop right outside the hotel. It’s reasonably close to the Southern Cross Station which was our destination from the airport using the Skybus.
The hotel room was spacious and clean. The check in process was easy, Nick was friendly and very helpful. Bonus for having a lift; especially with lots of luggage. We dined for lunch at the on-site restaurant, the Asian cuisine was very good.

You can’t beat the location. Right by the train station and easy walk to eateries all along Toorak Rd & Chapel St. The view back to the city was great. The apartments are modern, furnished nicely and beds were comfy. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff were super friendly and helpful & the price was so good compared to city/Docklands where we used to stay. This area has city vibes without being the CBD.

YEHS Hotel Melbourne CBD is very conveniently located in the city centre of Melbourne. It's only a five-minute walk from the Southern Cross station. The hotel's location and the kindness of its staff were the only things that were nice about my stay there.
