SwitzerlandPlenty of parking in the big courtyard and a very friendly welcome at the reception. We got a second floor room and were happy to have an elevator again after so many stairs in the hotels before. The rooms have a bit of a funny layout, but are nice, clean and quiet. The neighborhood is great - just walk north to Little Italy and you have dozens of restaurants to choose from, or walk south and you're soon in downtown and at the free tram stations. The hotel also has its own wine bar and restaurant, which we enjoyed one evening - decent choice of wine and food and nice staff. We will stay here again, when we come back.

I grew up in Melbourne and it has changed for the worst. Traffic is horrendous and the level of disrespect from the locals is next level. Immigration has taken over and it is no longer a place I call home. I love sport but travelling to Melbourne is not enjoyable apart from the events I attend. Melbourne is dirty, full of disrespectful people and immigration has taken over. .Open land is far more appealing and less likely to attract masses of people. Glad to leave.

So many things to do and discover in Melbourne. Just walk and discover. Went up a flight of steps not sure what we would find. A great relaxing cocktail bar where we sat and chatted for 2+ hours
So many shows, State library you need a whole day. Didnt even get to Fed square or are gallery. Went to exhibition in Jeffs shed sunday morning and so many things on.

Melbourne is an easy city to get around by tram and train. Stayed near Southern Cross for a day trip to Puffing Billy but enjoyed other aspects in the 2 days there. Great restaurants and shopping, particularly just out of Melbourne CBD. In my case also spent time shopping and dining in Collingwood, eclectic and interesting.

I've lost count of how many times I've visited Melbourne. If life were different, I'd easily move to live here. It's so multicultural and vibrant. The people are friendly, the food is fantastic, and there is so much to see and do. The place's general frequency is awesome.

Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs always has interesting things happening. Public transport makes it easy to get around. We thoroughly enjoyed South Yarra, Richmond and Prahran on this trip - including a visit to the only remaining video store in Melbourne on Swan St Richmond. We had cool weather and got plenty of walking in. Faulkner Park is a gem for stretching the legs!

The one-bedroom apartment suited us perfectly. Easy access by tram to Melbourne CBD and main sporting and arts/culture attractions. The apartment was well laid out with all amenities including washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, TV and balcony. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was spotlessly clean and the host supplied everything needed for a wonderful holiday break. She even provided a loaf of home baked bread. We've stayed in many holiday apartments over the years and this was the best experience. Highly recommended!

Everything, was an excellent room/apartment that had everything you needed, kitchen, bathroom as well as a personal washing/drying machine. The hosts were also absolutely lovely and explained everything very thoroughly and ensured we understood everything and had all questions answered and were fully settled. The room was beyond exceptional, with an absolutely incredible view of the city. I believe it is the best hotel value for money in all of Melbourne CBD.

The deal with parking was great as was easily the cheapest hotel parking in the area we found, and breakfast included - great value for our budget. So close to Marvel Stadium without being in Docklands which was the reason for our stay, but also just a quick walk to Southbank or the Spencer St Outlet if you don't want to deal with the CBD (like us)! Staff were lovely too.

We really enjoyed the hotel, as it was located within the CBD of Melbourne. It is also strategically positioned close to the airport bus terminals and the free tram zones. Facilities such as the saunas and swimming from the hotels were great for end the night!
