PolandI wish I had more nights at this lovely hotel. The room was nicely laid out, the extra toiletries appreciated, the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful. The pool faces a natural hillside, you can float and listen to the birds in the trees- that might have been my favorite part of my stay. There's a bus stop next to the hotel (Google shows it as a further walk than it is), easy to connect to other parts of the city.

South AfricaThe service at check-in was excellent. Our room was on the 14th floor and faced East Perth and had a great view of the Swan River. The room was very spacious. It a large bathroom with a sensor light coming from the walk-in robe when you walked into the bathroom - a good touch. The supply of an iron and ironing board was useful. The fridge and coffee station was handy. There was also a large desk area. Really well appointed.

Serene as the Swan
Sun-drenched and laid-back, Perth is simply a joy to be in. However, the West Australian capital does have tourist attractions, such as the Colonial-era mint, important in the country’s gold industry. East is the WACA, a must-see for cricket fans, and the city is also mad for Aussie Rules football.
The city center has the historic Government House and Supreme Court, both dwarfed by the ultra-modern skyscrapers a few streets behind. The best skyline view is from leafy King’s Park, near the War Memorial overlooking the Swan River below, named after its black swans. Across the river in Perth Zoo are more native animals including koalas, crocodiles and free-hopping kangaroos.
Boats to the zoo leave from the Barrack Street jetty by a sail-shaped bell tower. Other day trips from Perth include Rottnest Island and Fremantle, down the river in the opposite direction from Perth Airport.
The apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Perth are spread all over this fantastic city, interspersed with restaurants serving specialties such as western rock lobster and chili mussels. There are also a wealth of bars, many playing the indie music that the city is known for. Local brews from Swan Brewery and wines from the Swan Valley vineyards round off the evening.

Very sad reality to high costs of living and drug misuse creating a mental health crisis and homelessness on every street corner. Well policed on the ground and massive crime stopper signs with number on high rises so pretty safe to walk around if you can deal with most shops closing at 5pm except for the disgusting adult shops obviously in demand. Gross!

Perth is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.
Perth is a beautiful city and well worth a visit. Lots to see and do. Public transport system is excellent. Betty's Burger restaurant is a go to for burgers. Zip Lining, Climb the Perth Bridge. Mini Golf. Rottnest Island. Botanic Gardens. Beach in the summer. Perth Mint. Kings Park.

It’s mainly flat and the walk ability is great.
There are many walking paths that surround The Swan River, with pedestrian bridges that cross over to South Perth. Great verity of food from so many different cultures. Safe as well. For new visitors download the Uber app as taxi’s are a rip off.

should have hired a car which should allow me to see more of WA. I ended up decide just to catch public transport to get around which wasn't ideal as it didnt allow me to see a lot.
Bike riding at Rottnest Island was good, the scenery was worth everthing

I like Perth and have been here before.
I like Perth and have been here before. This time I visited the Fremantle Markets, Optus Stadium (wow), Kings Park, and the Perth Mint. I ate dinner at a nearby pub most nights, but went to a great restaurant about 20 minutes drive from my motel in a semi rural area.
I had a rental car and found it easy to drive around Perth (with Google maps help).
I would have liked more time in Perth as there are so many things to do.

Very good location to bars and coffee shops. Also right next to Subiaco train station to access all of Perth and freemantle. The hotel is new, very well maintained and staff were always pleasant and helpful.
