SpainIt is a really cosy old house pretty well preserved. The room itself is really big with a king bed since plus another bed if needed, plus sofa. A/C works well. The bathroom is outside across the hallway for your use only, all-in-one, I mean the shower is integrated with the loo. There is a kitchen you can use and a cute closed balcony overlooking the street.
Ali speaks good English plus German, Russian and Azeri (I think he speaks some other language I couldn't remember). He is really nice, good communication and is eager to suggest places to visit and help in anyway he can. His parents are also really nice.
The house is 100m away from the city center so very well located.

North MacedoniaThis place it exceeded my expectation. Its so good arranged and there is a lot of greenery. All around is good take care place and the stuff was excellent. There is a little boy who speaks english and together with his mom are incredible. The price is fair enoihh the breakfast was planty and tasty they even offered me a lunch for little money.
I STEONGLY RECCOMAND THIS PLACE ow you are visiting Sheki with car.

I didn't love the main city area as much as the historical road leading up to the Sheki Palace. The people in Sheki and all of Azerbaijan were very nice. The two palaces were worth the visit. We did a day trip to Kish, as well as a Waterfall and Saint George's Church. I'd recommend everything. One thing I didn't like was all the trash. It seems like a lot of people just throw their trash when hiking. It was still beautiful. Lots of places to stop between Sheki and Baku.

The Xan Saray Palace was incredile, showing the history of the place and the town in Persian-style paintings on the walls. We were positively surprised to find a small post office on the road towards the centre, selling both post cards and stamps (rare indeed in modern times).

Sheki is a historic city in Azerbaijan and no trip without...
Sheki is a historic city in Azerbaijan and no trip without Sheki can be complete trip to Azerbaijan.
With Palace of Sheki Khans with old city walls,Karavansaray and other historic places it takes takes you back in history.
One can visit nearby towns to explore more about the areas.
There is one winery also in Sheki called AZ ABRAU.
It is very easy to move around within Sheki to various historical attractions on foot.
Sheki is also famous for it's signature dish called PITI - a lamb stew which is made in a special way and also eaten in a special way to enjoy it fully.
It is also easy and cheap to move around Sheki as one can book the taxi thru online company.
Overall it is very good place.
I highly recommend.

Steeped in history Sheki is an important town in the ancient silk route. The Sheki Khan Palace, the ancient Karavancerai which is still existing are must visit. Nearby Kis & Kak villages too are very beautiful.
Sheki’s local food Piti is a delicacy.

A decent place from the busy city life, clean air, amazing weather and lot of greenery and fresh feeling place. Sheki palace was also a good place to visit and so was Karavansarayi. Would definitely recommend a visit. We stayed at Marxal hotel which was just amazing for the budget and the amenities were really good.

I did not prepare for the welcome and hospitality of Ali's family. I felt like I was at home while I stayed here. The breakfast was perfect, even though I could not eat it all. Ali's house is an ancient house in the downtown of Sheki. The house is more like a homestay than a hotel, but I got everything I needed while I stayed. Language is not even a barrier to the friendly and hospitality of Ali's family. It is a little bit cold in winter but all rooms are heated.

The location is fantastic as next to Palace of Sheki Khans and all the other major attractions within Sheki.There is no need to hire any taxi and all the major historic attractions and restaurants are reachable on foot.
The breakfast is good with all traditional food items and is more than enough.
Above all the staff is very helpful and take care of their guests.
For Sheki,as per my experience it is best hotel to stay for visiting Sheki.
