The room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and even had a private jacuzzi, which took the experience to a whole new level of comfort. The city is far more urban than I'd expected and there are lots of things to do with a toddler. The parks and playgrounds are amazing! And the best thing about it are the people - everyone is so pleasant and helpful.

The Fiver restaurant and Fort were excellent.
The Fiver restaurant and Fort were excellent. Seeing the religious and historical, sites, friendliness of the local population including the host.
The down side was the enormous amount of litter and rubbish around the historical castle and on many of the the streets.

Banja Luka is a great vibrant city with many cafes and restaurants. There are many parks and playgrounds for children. The food is amazing and the nature is everywhere, from plenty of trees, mountains and rivers.

Banja Luka is a city with fast development.
Banja Luka is a city with fast development. It is nice and clean and successfully combines the best Balcan traditions in culture and cuisine with European bars, restaurants, concerts and places for fun.
The people are friendly and polite. The prices are quite acceptable and the service is at good level everywhere. You will usually not have any issues with communication in English.
Spring, summer and autumn seasons are best option to go there.
You should visit "Casamat" restaurant in the "Kastel" (fortress), or sit beside the river Virbas in "Villa Vrbas" restaurant, or literally in the river at Splav (raft) restaurant. Then go to the city square and the church, look around the marketplace. All restaurants here offer delicious local food, but you can easily find European and especially Italian food.
Don`t miss "McTire" pub and the other pubs with live music in the evenings.

Banja Luka is a small tovi in RS that has a briliant soul. Best time to visit is at the end of the spring or at the beginning of the autumn.
It is also much better to have a companion or someone local to go out with.
Great cafes and restaurants with good local cuisine.
And please leave politics at home and enjoy.

Banja luka is a lovely small city.
Banja luka is a lovely small city. I stayed two days, one day for exploring the city a bit, and the other day for hiking in the nature. It definitely worth the visit, but I found 2-3 days are sufficient as they are not much to explore as a traveler. There are also not many interesting museums that show the culture and history of the city and country.

Beautiful spacious apartment in very center of Banja Luka.
We arrived very late, and the host was waiting for us. It’s new building certainly located, with garage. It’s more like hotel :)
Apartment is fully equipped with two bathrooms, very spacious living room, comfortable beds. Location is great, for two days we didn’t get the car as you can go everywhere by foot.
We really enjoyed our stay and beautiful Banja Luka :)

The hotel is in a great location to explore Banja Luka. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was comfortable and a great shower. The host, Milan, was wonderful. He went out of his way to help us when we left our iPad on a bus 🤦♀️. Can’t speak too highly of his help and support in what was a very stressful situation for us.

The location is great, it's an easy walk around Banja Luka from here. The hotel bar is also great, they serve good food and, if needed, you're able to work there for a few hours.
